North Carolina Marine & Estuary Foundation ….Fishing’s Quiet Hero

Over the past several years North Carolina has experienced a significant decline in its inshore fishing. Over those years, the state’s recreational anglers and the commercial fishing industry have found themselves in a finger pointing contest as to which group is responsible for the decline that has resulted in not only less fish for both groups because of the decline as well as the fishing restrictions that come along with that decline.
