2024 Bluefin Tuna Fishing Season….A Look Back

With a chill in the air, they come. Seeking menhaden and other fish in big schools. They don’t live here, but between the Thanksgiving Holiday and New Years to come to chase the baitfish into the shallows for their meal as they move along the Carolina coast. It’s the annual arrival of the Bluefin Tuna. They’re here only for a visit and in the early part of the new year they will have moved on.
